1. Is permanent jewelry actually permanent?
Not permanent-permanent — it's clasp-less! Instead of a clasp, your chain is welded closed right on your wrist, ankle, or neck, which means no more broken clasps or lost bracelets. If you ever want it off, it can be snipped with scissors or nail clippers at the welded link. Just a heads up: permanent doesn't mean indestructible. It's real, fine jewelry, so if it gets caught or pulled hard enough, it can stretch or break — and honestly, it should, for your safety.
2. What are the chains made of?
We offer a large selection of high-quality enamel chains all the way from Italy, solid gold, gold filled, and sterling silver chains, so there's a great option no matter your style or budget. Gold filled is a durable, more affordable alternative to solid gold — it holds its shine beautifully for everyday wear. Want the real thing? We've got solid gold options too, made to last.
3. Can I change my mind after I'm welded and the chain is cut?
Once your chain has been custom-fit and welded to you, it can't be returned or refunded — it's made just for you in that moment! If you're ever unsure, just ask us questions before we weld. We're happy to walk you through sizing and options first.
4. Can I bring a friend to my appointment?
Of course! Bring your people — getting sparked together is half the fun. Just let us know ahead of time how many pieces you're each hoping to get so we can make sure we have enough time set aside for everyone.
5. What if my jewelry breaks, or I need it put back on?
We're still building out our formal warranty details, but here's what you can count on in the meantime: if something happens to your piece, reach out and we'll take care of you. Fees and timelines may vary depending on the situation, so the best move is always to contact us directly at [email protected] and we'll get you sorted.
6. Can I get a piece resized if it's too tight or too loose?
Yes! We want you comfortable in your jewelry, always. Come back in and we'll take a look — whether there's a fee depends on your specific situation, so just reach out and we'll walk you through it.
7. I didn't get my jewelry from Links by Leija originally, but it needs to be put back on. Can you help?
Yes — this is what we call a foreign re-weld, and it's a flat $5 fee, even if you're also purchasing a new piece at the same time. We're happy to reattach it for you, though we can't guarantee the condition or durability of a chain we didn't originally provide.
8. What forms of payment do you accept?
We book and process payment through Square, so we accept all major debit and credit cards, as well as mobile wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay.
9. Do you have jewelry for men?
Absolutely! We've got plenty of clients who are men, and our chains look great on everyone.
10. Do I need to be a certain age to get permanent jewelry?
There's no minimum age, but if you're bringing a minor, a parent or legal guardian needs to be present and provide consent.

12. Private Party Policy
Planning a party or event with us? Here's what to know:
A minimum of 6 permanent jewelry pieces is required per party (rings are not included in this minimum).
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to book your date. This deposit goes toward booking your event and will be credited toward your total at checkout the day of the event.
Parties located more than 25 miles from Fredericksburg, VA (22401) will require a travel fee, which will be sent to you as a separate invoice.
